For a Better Tomorrow

IMG_5673.jpeg

Hi there! My name is Chelsea and I have always loved to give back to the community by dedicating lots of effort and time. For instance, I was on the student council in my high school and took part in various committees, such as fundraising, special events, and school ambassadorship. For the past year, I volunteered at the Terry Fox marathon, the Biscuit Sourire fundraiser, and the Breakfast Club for primary schools. Now, I enjoy spending numerous hours at the Montreal General Hospital every week, working alongside patients in the dialysis sector.

One thing in my life that plays a big role as well is sports. (Yes, I was bored to death during COVID.) Basketball, badminton, and volleyball are the three sports I fell in love with. In fact, I am now a basketball referee at the MMBRA and I have been hired as badminton coach at my high school.

A thing that I learned from being a student-athlete is to be a team player. I will always be open to your ideas and your thoughts. I will make sure that all Mari students can benefit from the wonderful activities to come. I am passionate about making a difference wherever I am. Don't forget to vote for me!
You can message me through my Instagram if you have any questions:)) @chelsea4msu

Get Involved

If elected as coordinator of Volunteering and Charities, I could offer a variety of ways to get involved not only on school campus but off campus for different organizations as well. If you wish to be part of the Volunteering and Charities Committee, simply send in an application and I would be able to contact you for further details. Whether you want to donate your time, money, or resources, we have opportunities for everyone to make a difference.
